Q) Why did you require a computer consulting company for your business?

I initially worked by myself since 2003, selling and implementing software systems into the Hair & Beauty market. As I grew the business, I knew I required the security of making sure my own IT needs were satisfied. I was starting to take on employees and required a server to hold all our documents electronically with different access rights for my employees.

I also wanted to provide some structure in my organisation as I could see the potential in our business and did not want to worry about supporting my team with their IT requirements personally!
I set about researching companies that could support my type of business and my needs. After narrowing down to a short list of 3, I invited each company to my office and held an interview.

Q) Why did you decide to choose Apex to support your business?

My decision was easy; all my questions were answered honestly and professionally. I emphasised the need for support and was assured and liked the ethos of Apex Computing Services. The company are also local which influenced my decision at the time. The guys keep in regular contact and visit each month. However they are also able to support my team who are based in Newcastle upon Tyne & Loughborough without visiting them!

Q) How would you describe the service provided by Apex?

Excellent we are able to contact Apex and we get an immediate response with a solution pretty much always instantly. I have gone through some laptops personally and there was a time where I was flying to Belfast in the morning. I had a problem the previous afternoon and I was panicking thinking I would not be able to do my meetings the next door.

The guys were brilliant and managed to get me up and running, however they even offered to loan me a laptop and to meet me early in the morning before I got my flight! This level of service in my opinion is above and beyond which makes Apex stand out. We work in a very similar way and our level of customer service to our clients is high priority.

I don’t feel we are just a customer, more a partner that works with us and understands our business and they support us accordingly. Apex has seen our company grown from 1 to 8 employees and they have supported the growth and expansion.

Each step of the way they have advised us on our IT needs and implemented as and when required. Without Apex I would not have been able to grow the business as quick, they have let me focus on running the business.

My peace of mind has been that I can trust anybody from Apex to carry out work on the server in the office, or to log onto one of my employee’s machines without having our privacy invaded.

Q) Would you recommend Apex to other companies?

Without any doubt, I have been completely satisfied with the service Apex have provided in the last 4 years and recognise they have helped my organisation Synchronize Solutions. I look forward to continued support and expansion!
