Strengthening Client Services with New Expertise

We’re thrilled to announce that Laura, formerly Head of Support Services, has moved into a new position within our Client Services Team as a Senior Relationship Manager.

Laura has been a key part of Apex for many years, bringing exceptional leadership, deep technical understanding, and a genuine passion for helping businesses get the most from their IT. Her transition into the Client Services Team marks an exciting step as we continue to focus on delivering a truly partnership-led experience to the organisations we work with.

In her new role, Laura will be concentrating on:

  • Building and strengthening long-term partnerships
  • Gaining a deeper understanding of clients’ operational and strategic needs
  • Supporting initiatives that drive meaningful improvements in service experience
  • Supporting collaboration between our technical and relationship teams

Her background in leading the Service Desk gives her unique insight into the challenges businesses face day-to-day – insight that will be invaluable as we continue to improve how we support our customers.

A New Era for Operations

We’re delighted to welcome Dale, who has joined Apex as our new Operations Manager.

Dale brings extensive experience in operational leadership, process improvement, and service excellence. His focus will be on optimising the way our internal teams collaborate, refining systems and processes that underpin our service delivery, and ensuring we’re set up to meet the growing needs of our clients.

As Operations Manager, Dale will be:

  • Overseeing and enhancing our service delivery performance
  • Supporting department leads across Apex to drive operational efficiency
  • Ensuring consistency, quality, and reliability across all touchpoints
  • Leading initiatives that help us deliver a seamless, end-to-end service experience

Dale’s arrival marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we’re excited to see the impact his operational expertise will bring to the business.

Strengthening Front-Line and Technical Excellence

We’re also pleased to announce that Simon has stepped into the role of Service Desk Manager, leading the day-to-day operation of our technical support function.

Simon has already established himself as a trusted technical leader within Apex, known for his deep knowledge, calm leadership style, and dedication to supporting both clients and colleagues. His appointment reflects our continued investment in developing our people and ensuring our Service Desk remains proactive, responsive, and aligned to industry best practice.

In his new role, Simon will be focused on:

  • Overseeing the daily performance of the Service Desk
  • Supporting the growth and development of our technical engineers
  • Enhancing processes to improve response times and service quality
  • Driving continuous improvement to ensure we deliver exceptional support

Simon’s leadership will be key as we continue to expand our capabilities and strengthen the front line of our customer support.
