Celebrating Daniel Kilroy - our April Employee of the Month

We’re delighted to celebrate Dan Kilroy, our April Employee of the Month, in recognition of an outstanding month that truly embodied what it means to be part of Apex.

April was one of the most demanding months the SOC has faced in some time. The team was operating under intense pressure, managing exceptionally high ticket volumes. In the middle of this, Dan stepped up in a way that made a real and lasting difference.

Nominated by Paul, Dan was recognised as the person who held the line when it mattered most. He took full ownership of a SOC queue, drove triage with a calm and methodical approach, and ensured that customers continued to receive the timely, high‑quality responses they expect from Apex—even when the pressure was relentless. That level of accountability and composure didn’t just keep things moving; it protected our standards at a critical time.

What made Dan’s contribution particularly special in April wasn’t just the workload he carried, but the growth he showed while doing it. As highlighted during the company meeting, there has been a clear and intentional step forward in Dan’s technical maturity. His analysis has become sharper, his decision‑making more confident, and his determination to keep raising the bar has been clear for everyone to see.

Dan didn’t simply help the team get through a tough month—he grew as a professional while supporting others, demonstrating resilience, ownership, and commitment in equal measure. These are exactly the qualities that underpin how we work at Apex.
