We're delighted to announce that Team Rise has been selected as our Charity of the Year 2025 - 2026 by the team here at Apex!

Earlier today, our Marketing Manager, Rachael, had the pleasure of visiting Team Rise on a volunteer day in person to deliver the news - and what a brilliant morning it was. Seeing the work they do first-hand has been amazing, and we're so happy to have been able to visit again so soon after Brandon, Hasan and Harvey spent the day with the Team Rise team and the community they support last month.

NEW

Team Rise supports adults with learning disabilities across East Lancashire, helping them build confidence, gain independence, and take part in social, creative, and physical activities that make a real difference to their everyday lives. It's an incredibly warm, welcoming, and passionate team - and that's exactly why we wanted to make them our Charity of the Year.

When we opened nominations internally for our next Charity of the Year, Team Rise quickly became a frontrunner. Their values align do well with ours: supporting people, removing barriers, and building stronger communities. The Apex team felt inspired by what they do, and we're excited to now be a part of their journey.

Our partnership will run from June 2025 through May 2026, and throughout the year we'll be raising funds, lending out time, and helping to raise awareness in whatever ways we can; we're committed to making a meaningful impact alongside the Team Rise community.

We'll be sharing updates on what we're doing together and our fundraising activities over the coming months - so stay tuned!

Here's what Team Rise had to say...

"We would to express our gratitude to the Apex team, there contribution is much appreciated, all the team and members at TEAM RISE are delighted they have chosen to support us further as their charity of the year."
