Fast-approaching her 5-year Apex anniversary, we shine a spotlight on Kate Bereti, Senior Customer Relationship Manager, to find out a bit more about her role...

Tell us a bit about your role as Senior Customer Relationship Manager and how you work alongside our customers?

As a Senior Customer Relationship manager, I am the primary contact for all 50+ user accounts assigned to myself. I work alongside the customers to help strategise, budget and roadmap for the IT systems and processes within their organisation - as well building and maintaining the working relationship that I believe is important to help retain an honest and equal partnership.

What do you find the most rewarding aspect of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is being able to help others, offering advice where needed, being the outside ears to listen to any problems and being able to suggest a solution that will fix the problem. I love building rapport with customers and knowing that they can trust coming to me for a solution that works.

What skills do you need to be an Apex Senior Customer Relationship Manager?

You need to have good customer service skills, be a good listener, be able to work as a team and to help other team members where needed. Good time management and organisation to ensure tasks and processes are followed is vital as the team is constantly busy! You also need to have a really strong understanding of customer requirements and systems and the various product offerings and services that Apex offer.

Outside of your day-to-day role, what is the best thing about working at Apex?

Apex is like an extended family. They value their members of staff, offering growth and development paths. There is a really fun atmosphere which makes coming to work on a daily basis enjoyable and I consider several colleagues friends for life.
