At Apex Computing, we’re always proud of the way our team pulls together to deliver for our clients and support one another. Each month, we take a moment to shine a spotlight on colleagues who’ve gone above and beyond. For July and August, we’re excited to celebrate James and Paul for their incredible contributions!
July: James Pilling
James has shown just how powerful a positive, customer-first attitude can be. When faced with a tricky onboarding project, he didn’t let the challenges get in the way. Instead, he rolled up his sleeves, worked closely with the customer to keep things moving, and made sure their needs were met.
On top of that, James took the time to document what he’d done and share it with the rest of the team—making sure everyone could benefit from the lessons learned. His commitment to collaboration and his focus on keeping the customer experience front and centre really stood out this month.
One of his nominators said: "James has worked incredibly hard... with [our customers] on a number of occasions to assist getting key things working for them highlighting customer focus. He then documented what he had completed and also what information he had been able to gather and shared this with the wider team, highlighting always a team."
Well done, James, and thank you for being such a brilliant example of teamwork and dedication!
August: Paul Chijioke
Paul may not have been with Apex long, but he’s already made a big impact. Always approachable and supportive, he’s built great relationships across the team and has been praised for the way he gets stuck into projects.
From delivering high-quality work on major initiatives like our Cyber Security Sphere, to playing a key role in security audits and creating customer-facing documentation, Paul has shown fantastic attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. His positive approach has lifted those around him and helped deliver results we can all be proud of.
One of his nominators said: "Since joining Apex, Paul has been working so well with the team and has received plenty of feedback from colleagues on his approach and support. Great work on the projects delivered. Fantastic work with our Head of Technical Delivery, Ashley, on the Apex Cyber Security Sphere work and even more brilliant work with our security audits and customer-facing documentation. Well done, Paul."
