Thomas Williams joined Apex as an apprentice in December 2014.

Apex brought Thomas in to the company allowing us to train him to our high standards to become part of our engineering team.

Why is the apprenticeship scheme important to us?

Apprenticeships are about providing choice and opportunity to today’s youth and can be a fantastic starting point for young people to showcase their talent.

Apprenticeship programmes offer training across multiple departments of a business, the young apprentice can receive hands on experience and the opportunity to learn and develop within the workplace that may not have been available at University.

For Apex, we have an opportunity to watch young talent flourish and ensure that the training is relevant to our company. Apprentices are highly motivated with an appetite for learning and will help take our business forward.
