Greater Manchester based IT support firm, Apex Computing Services is delighted to announce Trafford South Food Bank as its nominated charity partner for the remainder of 2022 and throughout 2023.

A poll was taken across the Apex team and the food bank was overwhelmingly voted as the charity of choice. Similarly, the team were all asked to volunteer fundraising ideas which has resulted in future bake sales, office ‘camp-outs’, a 24-hour gaming marathon and a ‘cycle’ to Paris whereby members of the team will each take turns to contribute to the ‘cycle’ each day, with more and more miles being clocked up on a stationary exercise bike until the full 510 miles are completed.

Apex CEO Chris Gorman says, ‘We want to raise as much as possible for such a deserving charity. It’s fantastic that the entire Apex team are behind each of the initiatives and we all can’t wait to get started. I’ll just have to dust off my cycling shorts!’

Charity Client Liaison Officer, Sue Brewster adds, ‘It’s brilliant to have such an enthusiastic organisation on board as a charity supporter and partner – we are really looking forward to seeing their initiatives come to fruition’.
