We're excited to announce that Billy-Jo McAdam has been named Apex Computing's Employee of the Month for January 2026!

Since joining Apex's Front Line Support team as a Service Desk Analyst just 4 months ago, Billy-Jo has made an immediate and lasting impact - not just on the Service Desk, but on the customers she supports every day. Despite this being her first role in IT, she had thrown herself into the challenge, demonstrating exceptional dedication, curiosity, and professionalism from day one.

Billy-Jo was nominated by our Head of Operations, Brandon, who shared the following: "since joining Apex on our front line in Support Services, Billy-Jo has worked so, so hard to pick up the complexity of the front line - and you'd never know it was her first role in IT. She's integrated into the department easily and is already a supported and valued member of the team. Billy-Jo has been taking on additional responsibilities to support our Service Desk Manager and is genuinely making a difference.

"She's great on the phone with customers, she's always early into the office and ready to go, and she never fails to check in on our teammates for wellbeing, not just in their workloads, but generally. Well done, Billy-Jo. You really are living the Apex values and we're proud to have you here!"

Billy-Jo added: "Thank you so much for this opportunity and choosing to bring me onboard. I felt warmly welcomed from the start and after the short space of time being here; I already feel super proud to be a part of the Apex team."

In a short time, Billy-Jo has already become a key part of the Service Desk. Her contributions include:

  • Rapidly mastering complex front-line support tasks

  • Taking on additional responsibilities to support Service Desk leadership

  • Providing consistently excellent customer service, with friendly, confident communication

  • Arriving early and ready each day, setting a positive tone for the team

  • Actively supporting teammate wellbeing, fostering a supportive team environment

Billy-Jo's commitment enhances not only the performance of the Service Desk, but also the overall customer experience - something that's central to Apex's values.
