Apex Computing Manchester supplying Microsoft Office 20
The team here at Apex Computing Manchester are so impressed by the new Microsoft Office 2010, we thought it deserves a mention on our news page.

Microsoft Office 2010 offers flexible and powerful new ways to deliver your best work—at the office, at home, or at school.

The most obvious change is a new set of product icons. Windows 7 users get jump list support, as well as dynamic icons that show, for example, whether you’ve got new mail, or if Outlook has been disconnected from a mail server.

Office 2010 can now be used from more locations on more devices, giving users much more freedom. It provides the familiar and intuitive Office experience across PCs, smartphones, and Web browsers, on the go.

Track and highlight important trends with new data analysis and visualisation features in Excel 2010. The new Sparklines feature delivers a clear and compact visual representation of data with small charts within worksheet cells. Filter and segment PivotTable data in multiple layers using Slicers to spend more time analysing and less time formatting.

Captivate an audience with personalised videos in a presentation. Insert and customise videos directly in PowerPoint 2010 – trim, add fades and effects, or bookmark key points in the video to call attention to selected scenes. Videos are also now embedded by default.

Outlook 2010 enables the compression of long e-mail threads into a few conversations that can be categorised, filed, ignored, or cleaned up. The new Quick Steps feature let people perform multi-command tasks, such as reply and delete an e-mail in a single click, saving time and inbox space.

Easily configure new and existing accounts, clean up your inbox, and visually see how much space is left in your mailbox. These are just a few of the many features available from the new Microsoft Office Backstage view. Backstage view replaces the traditional File menu in all Office 2010 applications to provide a centralized, organized space to manage your accounts and customize your Outlook experience.

Make it great with Office 2010.
