We're proud to share a major milestone in Apex Computing's journey: we've officially achieved (new or refreshed) three Microsoft Solutions Partner designations, reinforcing our commitment to delivering secure, modern, and reliable IT services for our customers.
-
Microsoft Solutions Partner for Infrastructure (Azure) (refreshed)
-
Microsoft Solutions Partner for Modern Work (refreshed)
- Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security (new)
These designations aren't just badges. They're independent verification that our people, our processes, and our real-world delivery meet Microsoft's exacting standards - and that matters hugely to our customers.
What Being a Microsoft Solutions Partner Really Means
Microsoft's Solutions Partner programme is built around one core principle: proven capability. To qualify, partners must demonstrate:
-
Certified, up-to-date technical expertise across key Microsoft technologies
-
Evidence of real customer delivery - not theory or box-ticking
- Ongoing investment in skills, assessments, and customer success
In short, you can't simply say you deliver at this level. You have to prove it.
For our customers, this provides reassurance that Apex is aligned to Microsoft best practice, delivering solutions that are modern, secure, and designed to stand up to real-world demands - whether that's infrastructure modernisation, secure cloud adoption, or protecting organisations against evolving cyber threats.

Cyber Security Analyst, Paul Chijioke, said: "Earning a Microsoft Security designation isn't just a badge, it's a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion our team brings to cybersecurity every single day. Our team works alongside you every step of the way; from identifying the right security solutions, to ensuring your technical deployments meet Microsoft's benchmarks. This recognition is a well-deserved moment of pride and a brilliant foundation to build on as we continue to grow."
A Brand New Security Milestone
Achieving Microsoft Solutions Partner for Security is a particularly significant step for Apex.
Security is not static. Threats evolve daily, and staying ahead requires constant focus, learning, and validation. This new designation confirms our ability to deliver enterprise-grade security solutions, helping organisations reduce risk, strengthen protection, and respond faster to incidents.
This milestone also reflects the growing role our Security Operations and cyber services play in protecting customers - not just reacting to threats, but proactively designing secure environments from the ground up.
Senior Implementation Engineer, Luke Collins, said: "Earning the Microsoft Information Security Administrator Associate certification highlights Apex Computing’s ongoing commitment to cybersecurity and professional development which goes back to our Enable Growth value. Achieving these certifications helps demonstrates the strength and dedication to enhance the protection for our customer environments with Microsoft best practices. It is a great personal achievement to be able to pass these certifications".
Refreshed Designations: Infrastructure (Azure) and Modern Work
Alongside Security, we've successfully refreshed our Microsoft Solutions Partner status for Infrastructure (Azure) and Modern Work.
Refreshing matters. Microsoft requires partners to continually demonstrate that skills haven't lapsed, certifications are current, and - critically - that partners are actively delivering these solutions to customers today, not relying on past achievements.
For customers, this means confidence that Apex isn't standing still. We're continuously modernising how we design, deploy, and support infrastructure and workplace technologies, ensuring they remain resilient, scalable, and fit for the future.

Powered by People, Not Just Technology
While these achievements are technical, the story behind them is deeply human.
Earning these designations required months of focused effort, continuous learning, and dedication from a number of the Apex team - often alongside day-to-day delivery for customers. It reflects Apex's long-standing commitment to investing in our people, supporting career progressing, and building clear development pathways across the business.
From functional certifications through to advanced specialism, our engineers are supported, incentivised, and encouraged to grow - because better-skilled and supported people deliver better outcomes for customers.
What This Means for Apex Customers
Ultimately, this milestone is about trust.
Choosing an IT partner is a big decision. You're placing critical systems, data, and business continuity in someone else's hands. These Microsoft Solutions Partner designations provide independent assurance that Apex delivers:
-
Proven technical expertise
-
Consistent, high-quality delivery
-
Solutions designed holistically - not one-size-fits-all
-
A partner aligned to Microsoft's latest standards and best practice
And while we're proud of what we've achieved, this is not the end of the journey. It's another step forward as we continue to evolve, invest, and raise the bar for what customers should expect from their IT partner.
